Patti Stueckler
Candidate for the upcoming General Election on November 3, 2026. Always verify official ballot status with the Maryland State Board of Elections.
Patti Stueckler is a 61-year-old North Beach resident, Realtor with over 24 years of real estate experience, and longtime community advocate running as a Republican for Calvert County Commissioner At-Large in 2026. The daughter of an Air Force Two pilot who served in Vietnam and married to a Marine Corps veteran, she and her husband John moved to North Beach in 1987, raising two Huntingtown High School graduates and eight grandchildren in Calvert County. Honored as the 2021 Calvert County Republican Woman of the Year and past President of Republican Women Leaders of Calvert, her campaign 'Protecting Calvert's Way of Life' is anchored on putting people before projects: a definitive 'No Data Centers' mandate, responsible and measured growth, banning backroom NDAs, and 'protecting your wallet first' by lowering property taxes.

Definitive 'No Data Centers in Calvert' & People Before Projects
Firmly opposed to industrial data center projects in Calvert County. Argues that local families must come before outside tech corporations to safeguard groundwater, power grids, and quality of life.
"No data centers in Calvert. People before projects. Local families should come before outside corporations."
Protecting Your Wallet First: Lowering Property Taxes
As a small business owner, prioritizes lowering high property taxes, operating strictly within county means, prioritizing needs over wants, and mandating transparent citizen input before taxes ever increase.
"I’m running to protect your wallet. As a business owner, I know what it means to balance a budget and make tough choices. Spending money isn't the only job of our officials. When I am elected I will protect your wallet first. Spend last."
No NDAs, No Backroom Deals, Full Public Transparency
Opposes commissioners signing non-disclosure agreements on projects that impact the community. Insists that decisions regarding large developments or industrial proposals must involve citizens before decisions are finalized, never behind closed doors.
"No NDAs. No Backroom Deals. Full Transparency. Residents deserve openness — not backroom deals. Whether it's data centers or large-scale development, decisions should never be made behind closed doors."
Responsible, Measured Growth Aligned with Rural Character
Rejects unchecked high-density development that creates traffic congestion, overwhelms schools and county infrastructure, and drives up property taxes, championing preservation of Calvert's rural charm.
"High-density development without proper infrastructure increases traffic congestion, strains schools and services, and expands county spending — often leading to higher property taxes. I support growth that is thoughtful, measured, and aligned with preserving our rural character."
