"Growth must balance preservation, community input, and infrastructure capability. We need responsible housing development aligned with sewage, traffic, and public service capacity, and preservation of coastal lands and agricultural heritage."
Open-Session Budgeting & Streamlining County Permitting
Advocates conducting budget reviews openly with department heads so taxpayers see exactly where funds go, while lifting bureaucratic red tape to speed up permitting for residents and small businesses.
"Show the taxpayers where their money is going. Do it in an open session. Sit down with the department heads and find more ways of getting input from the citizens... We must also lift the burden of red tape on residents and speed up the permitting process."
